Merry Christmas - December 25th Weather in Phuket

Firstly, I'd like to wish you all Merry Christmas!

Weather - HOT. Too hot really! Needed a mid afternoon siesta. After present giving for the kids (among other things, our son was very happy with a new sword and a "King Peter" hat; our daughter finally got a Ken to go with her 9 Barbies. Lucky Ken.)

No turkey for us. Went for early lunch at Leelawadee, took a drive up Radar Hill, then went for mummy and daddy presents... we visited the "Gems Gallery" which is called "The biggest jewellery store in the world" - well, it IS big that's for sure. Good service, very nice place, oodles of jewels and rings. We bought 2 gold rings. For what it's worth (since I am not a jewellery expert) I can recommend the place.

Late afternoon, Christmas dinner at The Beach Bar, Cape Panwa. No turkey or roast parsnip, but Tom Yum Kung, Gai Phad Med Mamuang, a bottle of the finest Beer Chang and a great sunset. Merry Christmas :)
